Congratulations Level 1 CFA Candidates on Your May 2024 Results!

Hey everybody, Nathan Ronen CFA here with a message for CFA Level I (“Level 1”) candidates who just received their May 2024 CFA exam results.

For Those Who Passed
Congratulations on passing the Level 1 exam in May 2024, where the CFA exam pass rate was 46%—one of the highest in recent times. Great job! This achievement is a testament to your hard work and dedication. Enjoy your success, take a deep breath, and savor the moment. You deserve it!

What's Next?
Now that you've passed, you might be wondering about the next steps. Here’s my suggestion: you can either go for the November 2024 Level 2 exam or wait for the May 2025 exam. My honest recommendation? Aim for the May 2025 exam unless you have ample free time and no work commitments. Preparing for the November 2024 CFA Level II exam might be an uphill battle, and it's unnecessary to put yourself under such pressure.

Preparing for CFA Level II
If you decide to take the May 2025 CFA Level II (”Level 2”) exam, consider getting started soon. While you don't need to sign up immediately (and might not be able to just yet), planning ahead is crucial. Once the registration window opens, you’ll have 9 months to prepare.

Join me at Chalk & Board to help you navigate the CFA Level 2 exam. I’ll show you how to integrate concepts more deeply than at CFA Level 1, because CFA Level 2 is a completely different challenge. Most candidates who use the same study strategy for Level 2 as they did for Level 1 struggle to pass on their first try. The exam format, question structure, and material integration are different and more complex.

Why Choose Chalk & Board?
At Chalk & Board, I focus on:

  • Concept Integration: Helping you understand how to tie Level 1 knowledge with new Level 2 material in your CFA studies.
  • Efficient Study Methods: Teaching you to manage your CFA study time effectively with only 88 questions in the same amount of time as the 180-question Level 1 exam.
  • Analytical Skills: Preparing you to tackle more involved and precise CFA exam questions that require a deep understanding of integrated concepts.

Check out my website at chalkandboard.org and YouTube channel youtube.com/@ChalkBoardCFAPrep/ for more details and to see how we can work together to conquer Level 2.

Enjoy Your Success
For now, if you’re a Level 1 candidate, take the time to really enjoy and savor your success. Congratulations once again, and I look forward to helping you achieve your Level 2 goals in May 2025.

Have a great day!
